Tenda W6S 300Mbps In-wall Wireless Access Point
The Tenda W6S is a wireless access point that can be wall-mounted to offer Wi-Fi coverage for your house or workplace. The IEEE 802.11b/g/n network protocols are supported by the W6S, which can enable data transmission speeds of up to 300 Mbps in the 2.4 GHz frequency range. The W6S includes two LAN ports, one for PoE+Data input and the other for data output, which may be used to connect to wired devices or to extend your network. On the front panel, there is also a reset button and a SYS LED indication. It includes two inbuilt antennas with a gain of 2 dBi, allowing it to offer robust and dependable wireless communications. The W6S also offers a 1 dBm adjustable transmission power, which allows you to improve Wi-Fi performance and decrease interference. To safeguard your network from illegal access, the W6S supports a variety of security protocols, including WEP, WPA-PSK, WPA2-PSK, WPA/WPA2-PSK, WPA, and WPA2. The Tenda W6S 300Mbps In-wall Wireless Access Point also supports VPN pass-through for the PPTP and L2TP protocols, allowing for secure distant network access. It has two modes of operation: AP and Client+AP. In AP mode, the W6S may function as a stand-alone wireless access point, allowing your wireless devices to connect to the internet. In Client+AP mode, it can link to another wireless access point while also providing Wi-Fi connectivity to your wireless devices. The Tenda W6S 300Mbps In-wall Wireless Access Point offers a web-based administration interface that allows you to customize settings including time and date, system log, firmware upgrading, backup/restore configuration, and username management.
